  19. I was watching Star Wars this weekend and was really enjoying it. The music
  20. was wonderful. The special effects were great. I thought about how easy it
  21. would be to do the space battles now. I thought about how "even I can do
  22. that!" That was until I looked at the explosions. Nope I couldn't do that.

  24. I have my own technique for painted, morphed explosions, but they aren't
  25. the same quality as a digitized explosion. And then.... it hit me. If I
  26. wanted a digitized explosion, where could I get one. I looked at the screen
  27. as the Millenium Flacon fought off a slew of TIE fighters. As the very last
  28. one flew straight toward the Falcon it was hit... and exploded.

  30.      It exploded...
  31.          It was in the center of the screen....
  32.              The background was black....
  33.                 I have a PAR.....
  34.                         I have a TBC IV.....
  35.  
  36. I now have a 143 frame, digitized explosion. I can even say that I got it
  37. from one of the better known film studios.
  38.  
  39. Now I need to find a film with a good fire scene in it.
